Signature addition, image repair of scratches or excess spotting, or other artistic adaptations can certainly improve the final print quality. These are considered outside the pre-press function and will be billed per quarter hour. Estimates can be given during Check-In.

Canvas prints are coated with either a museum grade UV protective vinyl or an archival “print guard” spray, depending on the type of inks used. Vinyl is included in the printing price, spray is included in the stretching fee.

Canvas stretching is available through our finishing department. We use a linear stretcher bar stock which allows for custom sizes, freeing you from the restraints of standard frame sizes.

Print costs are calculated on a united inch basis (length plus width equal united inches) and the substrate used (i.e., photo paper, cotton artist’s paper, canvas). Prices are based on the actual printed area. Each print is given a hand-trimmed border at no additional charge. Please refer to our Print Price form to calculate your print cost. An index of available substrates is provided on that form.

Artwork brought to our shop will not incur a set-up fee (all proofs viewed at Irelock). There is a $75.00 handling fee for all projects undertaken and conducted through the mail or other shippers. All files produced at Irelock are the property of Irelock and are archived at no charge. Archiving is a courtesy and we’re not liable for loss due to unforeseen disasters. We reserve the right to purge files for customers who will no longer use our services. Under certain conditions, files may be purchased on CD at a charge of $10.00 per image. JPEG files of your image can be emailed to you at a cost of $5.00 (plus a file conversion fee). All artwork shipped to Irelock must be in a reusable container with return postage paid.

For images to be produced on Art Paper, up to four colour-correcting test prints will be made at no charge. All paper prints will be proofed on 9”x12” matte paper. Any proofs made on fine art paper, or larger than 9”x12”, will be charged 50% of print cost...

Sorry, we cannot avoid extra costs on canvas proofing. A minimum set-up fee of $10.00. will apply, plus a strict 50% of print cost on each proof print after the standard four paper proofs. There are times when paper files must be further adjusted when going to canvas. All proofs, paper or canvas, remain the property of Irelock & Everything Art.

Please allow 8-14 days for scanning and proofing.

A standard giclée card is included with every print that will be part of an edition. This card includes information about the print.

Irelock maintains records tracking every limited edition in which we control the master file. You can purchase copies of our print number tracking forms, pertaining to your work, at a cost of $1.00 each.

Irelock does reserve the right to disqualify individuals from the Buck Program. The Buck Program is a privilege. Commercial projects are not eligible in the Buck Program.
